NASSIT Director General and Board Chairperson Sworn in as Trustees of the NASSIT Board.
The Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), Chernor Mamoud Jalloh, and the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Madam Jenneh Jabati, were on Friday, 11th September 2026, sworn in as Trustees of the NASSIT Board in a ceremony held at the NASSIT headquarters, 32 Walpole Street, Freetown, marking the beginning of a new leadership era for the Trust.
The Solicitor Secretary, Tejan Ahmed Israel Jah, administered the solemn ceremony, which was witnessed by
members of the NASSIT Board.
In their separate oaths, both leaders pledged to uphold the NASSIT Act No. 5 of 2001 and to serve the people of Sierra Leone with integrity, dedication, and a strong commitment to transparency and reform.
The swearing-in marked a key step in Government’s efforts to reform public institutions and improve service delivery for Sierra Leoneans.
The ceremony concluded with a call to all NASSIT staff to support the new leadership.
